Industry Support & Sponsorships

Techmer PM Support of the Plastics Industry

Collaborative Efforts

An industry brimming with talented, discovery-minded people needs a collaborative and healthy space for sharing ideas. That’s exactly the opportunity our leadership development conferences such as Fibertech provide.

These events unite industry leaders, including key suppliers and manufacturers, to discuss trends, technological developments, and new solutions for brands’ pressing challenges. Their success will always reflect the shared culture of a marketplace that values knowledge and believes in improvement above all else.

Innovation and Technology Centers

To leverage our expansive global manufacturing operations, we’ve established design facilities tasked with exploring new and exciting technologies. Our Fiber Service Center in Dalton, Georgia, provides product designers with an all-encompassing interactive experience — working with our team to create custom colors and additives for a range of fiber polymer products.

At Polytest, our testing laboratory in Clinton, Tennessee, we bridge the gap between our practices and the products of tomorrow by specializing in plastics testing, additive and color technology, and chemical analysis. Additionally, our applications lab in Clinton replicates numerous customer processes to accelerate speed to market with essential equipment, such as a three-layer blow molding machine capable of 70-ounce handleware bottles.

Education Support

As a cornerstone of our corporate philosophy, sustainability applies not just to product effectiveness but also to ensuring the industry’s growth through tomorrow’s materials design leaders. It’s why we sponsor the Bill Moggridge Awards, an annual design program that supports young engineers and honors the life and career of legendary designer Bill Moggridge.

Supply Chain Responsibility

The competitive nature of polymer manufacturing requires respect for the longevity of the supply chain and its connection to the common good. We contribute to this longevity through corporate and social responsibility, ethical business practices, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. We ensure our suppliers keep these same standards through our Techmer PM Supplier Conduct Principles. This commitment is part of the hard but necessary work to create a plastics industry and overall economy that supports safe and healthy communities.
