Techmer PM’s Rancho Dominguez, Ca. Facility is Helping Kick Off a Series of Regional Fall Programs Organized by SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association.
CLINTON, Tenn., September 2, 2015 –Techmer PM, a leading producer of value-added colors and additives for the plastics and fiber industries is opening its doors to the plastics industry as part of a tour and workshop, hosted by SPI’s West Region. The event takes place on September 10 from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and includes a technical workshop, facility tour, and networking reception. As part of the workshop, Angie Martin, Techmer PM’s regulatory product specialist, will provide an update about regulatory issues facing plastics processors. James Reeve, CEO at Newport Power, will speak about solar and alternative energy while SPI’s Kim Holmes will explain the organization’s zero net waste program and sustainability benchmarking.

The West regional workshop is open to SPI members and non-members, and is intended to provide networking opportunities for plastics industry professionals across the U.S. SPI’s Midwest, South, and Northeast regional advisory boards will host programs throughout the month of September.
