Craig Foster
Chief Executive Officer
Craig Foster is the Chief Executive Officer of Techmer PM, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and overall business performance. His approach is customer centric focusing on clear objectives, operational execution, and ensuring teams have the structure and resources needed to deliver results.
With more than 30 years in the plastics and specialty chemicals industry, Foster has held leadership roles focused on business transformation, commercial growth, and operational improvement. Before joining Techmer PM, he served as CEO of SWEPCO (Southwestern Petroleum Lubricants) and CEO/President of Circulus Holdings. He has held senior leadership roles at CSW Industrials (NYSE: CSW) and Flint Group.
Foster began his career in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University.
At Techmer PM, he concentrates on alignment across teams, disciplined execution, and advancing key initiatives that focus on positively transforming the customer experience, driving disciplined growth and operational excellence.
Steve Loney
Vice President - Marketing
Steve Loney serves as Vice President of Marketing at Techmer PM.
Since joining the company in 2000, Steve has held diverse roles spanning technical service, sales, industry management, and market development. In these positions, he played a pivotal role in shaping Techmer PM’s commercial strategy and driving market growth.
In his current role, Steve leads a team of market leaders focused on advancing Techmer PM’s key market priorities and sustainability initiatives. He champions customer success by introducing innovative solutions through close collaboration with processors, brand owners, and internal teams.
With more than two decades of experience in the plastics industry, Steve emphasizes that strong relationships are built on trust and confidence. His contributions have earned him Techmer PM’s prestigious Chairman’s Award, reflecting his commitment to excellence and his passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Steve holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. Outside of work, he enjoys sport fishing and traveling with his wife, Jeannette.
Bhushan Deshpande
Vice President - Technology
A native of Mumbai, India, Bhushan Deshpande joined Techmer PM as an analytical engineer in June 2000 after completing his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of Tennessee. Five years earlier he had earned his bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from University of Bombay’s Department of Chemical Engineering (UDCT).
Bhushan has held various jobs in Techmer’s technical organization, including analytical engineer, technical service manager, laboratory and quality control manager, and product development manager. He has been the VP of technology since April 2019. In this position, he is responsible for all technical development for the company as well as vendor technical management.
He has presented at various industry conferences and overseen numerous customer training sessions.
Elizabeth Perusse
Vice President – Human Resources
Elizabeth Perusse brings nearly three decades of human resources experience to her role at Techmer PM. She has held roles of increasing responsibility across various HR disciplines, predominantly in business partnering and HR leadership. She also has been active in organizational leadership and change, performance management, employee benefits, compensation and technology.
Her industry experience spans financial services, consumer products, biotechnology and manufacturing. Elizabeth, who earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Presbyterian College in South Carolina, holds certifications as a senior human resources professional from both the HR Certification Institute and the Society of Human Resources Management.
Though the Chattanooga, Tenn., native has lived most of her life in the Atlanta area, she recently relocated to Knoxville, Tenn., to be closer to Techmer’s corporate headquarters.
Ben Stilwell
Chief Financial Officer
Ben Stilwell joined Techmer PM as chief financial officer in December 2023 after working in a similar role for ABX Innovative Packaging Solutions. Ben brings a wealth of financial expertise and strategic leadership to the organization.
With an impressive track record in financial management and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing accounting, Ben plays a pivotal role in Techmer’s continued success. He started his career as a nuclear engineer with Westinghouse Electric Corporation. In 2004, he focused his career on finance, serving as a regional financial controller in Berry Global Corporation and later becoming their division chief financial officer.
Stilwell earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Murray State University. He also holds a Master of Science in nuclear engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Southern Indiana.
David Allen
Vice President – Information Technology
David Allen joined Techmer PM as Vice President of Information Technology (IT) in March 2023. He is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in IT roles.
David has a proven track record of driving digital transformation and innovation, with a deep understanding of enterprise systems and applications and expertise in cybersecurity and data management.
In his role as VP of Information Technology, David will lead Techmer PM’s IT team and spearhead the development and implementation of the company’s IT strategy.
Prior to joining Techmer PM, David held senior IT roles at several leading companies, including Chemours (previously known as DuPont) and Mauser Packaging. He has extensive experience managing large-scale IT projects, including system implementations and data management.
David holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Marietta College and a master’s in business administration from West Virginia University.
Travis Martin
Vice President - Operations
Travis Martin joined Techmer PM as Vice President of Operations in May 2023.
Travis has 20 years of progressive experience in manufacturing leadership, with extensive experience in safety, production, P&L, and cost ownership. As VP of Operations, Travis will lead the operations team and drive strategic initiatives to improve processes, optimize efficiency, enhance operational excellence, and support Techmer PM’s continued growth.
Travis earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Bucknell University and began his career with Cytec as a process engineer, where he progressed to site leadership roles. His last position was at Solvay as industrial director in their Technology Solutions business unit.
Travis also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
